My name is Hassan Ghedi Santur. I was born in Somalia and immigrated to Canada when I was fourteen just before the outbreak of civil war in my country. I eventually earned a B.A in English Literature and an M.F.A in screenwriting at York University. Something Remains is my debut novel. I live in Toronto where I work as a freelance radio producer for CBC. I am currently at work on my second novel Things We Lost in the War.
